A synthwave arcade racer with a drift-scoring system deep enough for speedrunners and readable enough for first-timers.
The problem
Arcade racers either patronize new players or alienate them. The scoring had to be legible on first contact and bottomless for the people chasing leaderboards.
The design
A layered drift economy: one input, escalating mastery. Beginners feel fast immediately; experts find a combo ceiling that took the community months to reach.
